	I would like to share a personal story how one person can truly make a difference. Katherine came into my son's classroom as a parenting consultant/co-participant. Her topics were geared towards providing kids with compassionate tools when they find themselves in precarious situations. One particular day, she was teaching the kids not to take, grab, or demand - rather than having one child in a powerful position and the other feeling inferior, or violated, Katherine taught them just by saying "would you be willing?" before they take, grab, or demand. This puts the kids on an even standing; one of compassion and respect and mostly being heard. My son brought this tool home. In turn, we brought this tool to our family reunions on both sides. She truly does raise inspired kids!!
